Ragnarök
The End of the World in Norse Mythology

Ragnarök is the “fate of the gods” or final destruction of the world in Norse mythology, often called the “Twilight of the Gods”. It is a predicted apocalyptic event involving a cataclysmic battle where major gods (like Odin and Thor) fight monsters and giants (like Loki and Surtr), resulting in the death of most gods and the submersion of the world in water before it is reborn.
